No Room for a Large Fountain?

!±8± No Room for a Large Fountain?

It gives the sound of running water, which is so relaxing to listen to after a hectic day at work or anytime at all.

Create an Oasis - You can create an oasis for birds using one of these fountains with various types of bird food nearby. Plant some trees, shrubs and flowers around the fountain that are attractive to birds to act as an enticement and shelter for them. Be sure you don't plant to densely but leave some openings so you can view the birds in the oasis. You will enjoy watching them in their safe haven.

Birds enjoy bathing and drinking the running water in the fountains. It is good for their overall health. Also they need to do a certain amount of grooming on their feathers to keep them healthy. The water helps them do so.

The Sound - The sound of the running water is nice to listen to, but it also helps attract the birds. Now they not only see it from the air, but hear it too. You will quickly see how many more birds you attract having this feature in your yard.

Feeders - Not all birds are seed eaters, so they do not come to feeders like other birds do, but they will come to the bird baths. They need water to live just like we do. So you draw more birds in if you offer the water of the fountains.

What are Fountains? A pump is all that is needed to have a fountain. You can add one to a regular bird bath and create your own fountain. It is just moving water either in a single stream or a sheet of water. Now there are many models of these bird baths that have pumps built in. But why not convert one you already have? This is the more affordable way to have one.

Why Moving Water? The movement of it keeps the mosquitoes from breeding. This keeps these insects from spreading various diseases. The moving water also encourages the birds to come. So along with having a lovely birdbath fountain in your yard, you will have many birds that are delighted you have it!

Maintenance - There is not that much maintenance with these bird baths. However, you must clean them on a regular basis and keep them free of debris. Each time you clean them, fill with fresh water. Also make sure the pump is working like it should. Location Remember, it does not take a lot of space to put one of these birdbath fountains.

So if you are looking for the feel of a larger water feature, but have very limited space, turn to these. You get the same sound and atmosphere as the large ones, but with less cost and they do not take up as much of your yard. Also the birds will come visit you in larger numbers.
